Stroopwafel ice cream

I love ice cream, and since i have a ice cream maker, i like to try lots of different flavors, and one of my favorites is this one with the waffles from Holland.

Ingredients:
200ml Milk
100 ml Cream
3 Yellow of the egg (with the wite of the eg, you can make schuimkransjes, see bellow for recipe)
60gr Sugar
3 traditional dutch waffle (stroopwafels)

How to make the ice cream:
Bring the milk to the point of boiling
Mix in a bowl the yellow of the eggs with the sugar till it turns to look white. Add the milk carfule to the bowl and mix till you don't here the creaking sound of the sugar.
Put al of this back in the pan, and heat it while your stirring, do not boil.
chop the stroopwafels into small pieces, and add this to the mix, together with the cream. mix it and let it cool down a bit.

When you have a ice-cream machine you can add the mix when it cool downed and let the machine run for one hour, if you don't have the machine, you can use a box specially for the freezer and you must stirr the mix regularly to keep the flavor and let the ice cream be creamy. If you don't do this, you get ice crystals that make the ice hard and less palatable.

When i will make different taste i will write about it, and let you know how it taste. With the white of the egg you can make the recipe of schuimkransjes, written down below. I hope you enjoying making the ice cream!

Eetsmakelijk/ Smacznego
